Charlie Pyles
Head of Operations
Charlie is an American cinematographer, director and the founder of Charles Allen Productions. He was born in the USA, grew up in Cameroon, and has lived in Guangzhou since 2011.
Charlie graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Mass Communication and Film and Media Arts. He has produced video content in the USA, in Europe, in Africa, and in Asia.
Charlie is fluent in Mandarin, and one of his key strengths as a creative is working with our western clients to see their needs met in China.
Mike Yongxi Mai
Creative Director
Mike is a gifted director, cinematographer and producer.
He was born and raised in Guangzhou, but his mad skills in video content creation have led him to shoot all over the world. He has worked in China, Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Russia, and even in Antarctica.
He graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2007, and has been working in film and television production ever since.
He is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
